Curious news that the Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien, an uncategorisable novel published posthumously in 1976, has suddenly seen a staggering rise of interest due to a moment's glimpse on the interminable tv drama Lost. I am heartened that such an erudite, eccentric and utterly bewitching author as O'Brien has been smuggled into so many more lives. I want to hear more news that makes me grin so much!
