No, I feel quite uneasy in the fact that it’s not legal – by the very nature of making a blog like this, I’m in up to my neck in copyright infringement..it seems relatively harmless as it’s an insignificant, non-profit site just representing the artwork simply, giving the artist’s name and title of the piece, not altering it or misrepresenting it, or materially benefitting from it. I don’t know if I could claim ‘Fair Use’ – probably not.
I guess I’ve tried not to think about it too much, but you’ve brought it to the front of my mind. I’m totally happy to discuss the whole issue...could be interesting too.
A great joyous slice of serendipity - random(ish) images and words from on and off the Internet.
Emphasis on painting, drawing, sculpture, computer art, illustration, and artistic or curious photography.
But also dipping into the Scrapbook of Serendipity on such subjects as:
Sherlock Holmes, telephones,
surreal fish, chess,
Alice, lighthouses,
musical instruments, chocolate, frosty nature,
rockets, robots,
labyrinths, bicycles, vegetables,
castles, giraffes, and Brighton.

How did you get a Bonnard piece here? May I know if it is legal to put famous pieces up?
I mean, I don't want to be violating the rights of people.
